Blank on Blank is a production of Quoted Studios-– a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) content studio based in Brooklyn. Quoted is dedicated to using animated journalism to preserve and re-imagine the American interview.

Our Team
David Gerlach
Creator and Executive Producer
David launched the Blank on Blank series in 2012. Previously he was a producer at ABC News and MSNBC. He’s married to Danielle Sacks and lives in Brooklyn.
Patrick Smith
Director and Animator
Patrick has written, produced, and directed six award winning films in the last decade. Previously he was visiting lecturer in the Graduate Animation program at New York University. He curates multiple international film and animation festivals.
